The Mount Airy Main Street Association,
in conjunction with Mount Airy Women in Motion, announce the winners of the 2018 Mount Airy Main Street Light the Loop Contest! Decorations are judged in two categories; Innovative and Traditional.
Innovative:
Residential - 602 South Main Street; Honorable Mention - 905 North Main Street
Commercial - Carterque; Honorable Mention - Browning-Reagle Insurance
Traditional:
Residential - 601 South Main Street; Honorable Mention - 508 South Main Street
Commercial - That Girl Cleaning; Honorable Mention - Mount Airy Train Station
The goal is to hope that folks will drive through the heart of the town to see the beautiful lights instead of by-passing on Route 27. The ‘Loop’ is a three mile stretch from Route 27 just north of Interstate 70, to where Main Street rejoins Route 27 at the north end of town.
Please enjoy the drive through the heart of town during the holidays to appreciate the beautiful decorations on the homes along the Main Street loop.
