Historical Society Meeting - Our May Historical Society Meeting is scheduled for May 7, 2024 at 7pm in the lower level of the MAVFC Fire Hall. Our program will be the continuation of a series of Short Stories: Growing Up in Mount Airy. Presenters will be Bonnie Winkler, and Ron and Barbara Runkles. Please note, there are no monthly meetings during June, July, or August. Meetings will resume in September.
America's Field Trip - There is a new contest that invites students across the country in grades 3–12 to be part of America’s 250th anniversary by sharing their perspectives on what America means to them — and earning the opportunity to participate in unforgettable field trip experiences at some of the nation’s most iconic historic and cultural landmarks. Students can enter at https://america250.org/fieldtrip/. This is open now. Contest ends May 17, 2024.

The Mount Airy Museum is open Saturdays and Sundays 12 noon until 4 p.m., and from 3-7 pm on Wednesdays when the Farmer's Market is open (June-September only)
