Downtown Farmer's
Market
Wednesdays 3:30-6:30

The market will be held each Wednesday
between 3:30p.m. and 6:30p.m. between 6/4/08 and
10/1/08.
After a very successful market in
2007, MAMSA is pleased to bring back the farmer's
market for 2008. Local farmers will offer a variety
of fruits, vegetables, organic products, eggs, breads,
cakes, pies, fibers, cut flowers, farm related crafts,
and much more. As an added attraction, special events
are planned each WEDNESDAY, such as cooking demonstrations,
helpful gardening tips, health information, kids
activities, and lots more.
The Town of Mount Airy as a community
has made great strides in becoming a "green" community.
"We would like to offer more organic products to
the community", says Debbie Holt, MAMSA Farmers'
Market Committee Chair.
We invite all local farmers and
vendors of organic products to participate in the
market. MAMSA is also looking for local musicians
with a soft rock/lite Jazz sound to perform at the
market.
